Business from Home- House Insurnace

We had our garage converted and are going to run a small business from it. Can anyone advise how we go about getting the house insurance sorted, so that the house is covered in the normal way and the business bit is covered for public liability?

whoever does your current house insurance should be able to asist. The Public Liability aspect will be based on the type of business and possible number of callers/employees etc. most companies do it now. you will need to contat them by phone or via broker. Online quotes will not eb given for what they term 'non standard' risks
