Business expense Golf Classic Outing for chaity

But could it not be argued that the cost of €500 is really nothing to do with the company, I am doing this personally, just using the company to pay it?

How can it be nothing to do with the company, if the company is paying for it????

The company gets a benefit from it in the form of advertising on a tee box, or on a food menu, or on the rules for the day, or on the sponsors list.

“There’s those Giberson fellas again…I must give them a call.”

If you want to do it personally, then the company should not be paying for it. Using same logic why not get the company to pay for your weekly shopping?

In another thread on this same topic you said the company wanted to make a donation.
