BUPA will pay 50% of my medical expenses. So, when i pay my GP €50, BUPA refunds me €25.
Can i add the difference (€50 -€25 = €25) on my MED1 form?
Thanks

Yes, on the back of the form you need to fill in the total amount you spent on eg Doctors fees, then further down there is a box to show "Deductions" (the amount you were re-inbursed by BUPA). The difference then is the amount you're actually claiming on (less E125 single person/E250 for a family)

be careful though, BUPA actually only refund 50% of your payments after deduction of excess. Not sure what called, but think depending on your plan they deduct say 450 and refund you 50% of amounts over this

You can basically claim any medical expenses on your MED 1 form that you cannot claim elsewhere, ie from VHI, BUPA, Health Board, etc, subject to the restrictions on the MED1 & MED2 form such as dental fillings, etc
