I am considering the idea of building my own house. I currently live with parents and think that building might be financial more viable than buying. I have being doing a bit of research on these timber frame houses and I reckon that if I can find a suitable site it would definitely be the way forward. Also the problem of building in Wicklow keeps coming up. Any info/input into either of these topics would be much appreciated.
