Roof slate

Anyone have recommendations for a good roof slate, possibly natural. I want something that will last, not fade too much, as I am living near the sea.

Natural slate is more expensive, but is lovely. We live near the sea too and have natural slate- don't regret it as it is beautiful.

Builder,

As Marie would have hinted here have you ever heard of the expression "Thanks". Me thinks you will get a lot more help if you show some appreciation at least.

I havent a clue how much they were as its a few years ago now, but I do know they have gone up in price since. Although I entertained a lovely thought at one time that they were Valentia slate, the more mundane truth is that I believe they were imported from Spain.

The natural slates (I think they are called Blue Bangor?) are around €2.50 each - this does not include installation.
