Builder prices for extensions

Hi there,

Planning to extend a 3 bed semi in cork. 2 storey. Anyone getting an extension at the moment. Had heard that the prices per sqm/sqf had dropped a lot. Is this the case? Havent gotten a qoute yet.
Any reccommendations for high quality builders out there?
