BTEA while not on sw

Hi there, i was let go from my job 9 months ago, my JB ran out last week so im sending out the forms for JSA, which i don't think i will get as my husband earns quiet well.

I have an interview to do a prenursing course, but if i dont get any payments i wouldn't be able to do as childcare would be too much.

does anyone know whether i can get BTEA if they decline my JSA, I'm going to the social welfare office next week, just kind of want to have an idea on what they might say.

Don't forget to continue signing for credits if you do not get work,course or JA
