Broken fascia board

Hi. The fascia board on the side of my house has snapped off (about half to two thirds of it). Two questions:
1. Is is a priority that this is fixed? (I don't know anything about them)
2. If it is, then is this a pricey job? Does anyone have any recommendations for the Dublin 15 area?

Depends on definition of "priority".

Does it need to be done straight away? probarbly not.

However if facia and soffit are missing attic will be very cold which could have an effect on your pipes (freezing).

It is not a huge job but it important that it be fixed for the winter to keep out the cold and any wild residents.
If you are using wood, the main thing is to make sure that the timber is properly primed before being put up. Really it's just a matter of getting the fascia, cutting it to size and nailing it in place. Then paint the primed wood immediately and bob's your uncle.
Don't be ripped off by cowboys looking for extra beer money for Christmas! Shop around. Ask at your local Polish shop, job club or community resource centre!

Great thanks. Its PVC i think, not work. It just seems to have snapped. Will price getting it fixed.
