hi,i have moved from the north where i was claiming incapacity benefit, am i entitled to export this claim with me and continue to receive this benefit while living in the republic?and if so for how long?

You would need to check with a UK based adviser to ensure that you wouldn't be breaching any UK requirements, but in general EU sickness benefits are payable, regardless which country in the EU you are living in, provided that you meet the criteria of the scheme. I do not know if incapacity benefit is considered to be a sickness benefit under EU law, you would need to check with someone familiar with UK benefits system.
