i am interested in taking up wireless broadband with perlico, this is based on the vodafone network, unfortunately vodafone has a weak reception in my area for mobile phones, is there any way of boosting the signal for broadband, is there some sort of aerial booster i can get which i can plug into

Are you referring to Vodafone 3G "broadband" (often at dial-up speeds!) as resold by Perlico or a Perlico wireless LAN router for broadband delivered some other way? I don't think that you can boost reception of the former. With the latter (a wireless LAN router) you can always try tweaking the router's power output or using a higher gain antenna on the router and/or PC/laptop etc.

firstly i would stay away from perlico not all is as it seems with them. secondly thus 3g wireless connections are dodgy, all depends on location.

You should check-out Digiweb's new 4G Broadband. I was having trouble getting a decent signal from any of the wireless broadband providers but Digiweb's worked great. It's 5.5 download and 1.2 upload with a 15GB download limit. Not a huge download limit but seems to be the norm over wireless.
