boiler broken

the water from the hot tank always got to hot (could burn )and now the element has blown , need to get it all sorted .any ideas what kind of price i could be looking at , is it a big job , would like to have some idea before contacting a plummer , hopeing for a fair price but it needs to be done properly any ideas of rough cost please .

Between €100 and €120 inc vat to replace immersion. Depends though on where you are located. It may be only the thermostat gone, to replace this would be under half the price.
