Blocked up Bathroom Sink

Ok house is just over 2 years old and the water in the Bathroom sink takes a while to drain ?
Not sure what is causing the problem?

Anyone got any ideas & how to fix it

Use washing soda and warm water a couple of times. Will dissolve any gunk that's stuck down there. Works every time for me.

And get one of those covers/filters for the plughole for the future.

If it's blocked by hairs, the washing soda won't work (voice of experience!). Best to unscrew the u-bend under the sink and see if there's anything lurking there.

Delgirl is right, best unscrew the trap beneath the sink where you'll find hair, congealed toothpaste and lots of other lovely gunk! Once its clean I'd recommend you give it the washing soda treatment followed by a few pints of boiling water every couple of months or so.
