Black floor tiles

We recently layed black ceramic floor tiles in our main bathroom & am very sorry to have done so.
The slightest thing leaves a mark ie: footprints or jumping out of shower.
Is there any wax or treatment I could use so that the marks aren`t so visible?
I`ve considered taking them out but if there was some solution it would save a lot of hassle?
 
I've heard that using the Zip car wash/wax mix can help create a protective film in these cases - but of course test on an inconspicuous area first.
 
Woud be very interestd in any advice here too , as we also put down black floor tiles in our on suite, so sorry i ever saw them in the showroom ! Simply washing your hands, drops of water fall on floor and dry out as stains ! Herself is going barmy over them, being constantly reminded tht I picked them !! In theory they look great but practically they are a torment.

I`m in a slightly better position than you then secman, in that it was herself that picked them out for us!
