I am just wondering if there is a link with my current invasion of little black flies and the fact that I have still to landscape the back and front of the house. As it currently stands I need to dress the site with topsoil, both the back and front is currently made up of fill, weeds and gorse. I heard that this is a perfect breeding ground for black flies, had a similar invasion last year, which coincided with the field behind us being levelled.
