Does anyone know how to get rid of birds in the attic? We have an attic conversion with crawl space at the front and back of the house. We had noticed some scraping sounds in the past but on Saturday night I left the door to the living space open and a bird must have been attracted by the light on Sunday morning and he came out into the house. He made quite a mess for a small bird.
We can't see any openings to the outside world, and we only recently had a roofer up there repairing storm damage, and he didn't notice anything either. Maybe birds can squeeze through tiny spaces? It was a thrush if that makes any difference?
I've read some stuff online about using mothballs but has anybody got any other advice?
