Can anyone give advice on which one to choose?
Oakstown Reilly is over 1k more expensive.
The ground type is practically a sheet of rock.

Many Thanks :)

Yes looked into it its seems to be about 2k more exspensive than Oakstown so ruled out: budget is getting very tight now :(

Don't compromise on your treatment plant, it will cost you a fortune over a lifetime if you don't put the right one in. Whatever unit you have been specified for your percolation, that the one to use. If you dont have the money now, forget about painting or tiling or flooring budgets, whatever else you do, get this right.

If you select on price, the cost is expensive!

We have an Oakstown system in since December 2006 and have had no problems with it. It was more expensive than some other units we looked at but our groundworks guy spoke well of it.

I have no affiliation with the company apart from using them.

Thanks Lastbuilders, that is good to know, this is the system we are leaning towards, just wondering how do you find it on electricity or do you even notice?

Also if anyone has feedback on the Biotech system that would be great.

Thanks again.

I remember asking at the time how much esb it uses and was told it was pretty small i.e. around 30 cent a day or so.

I was ask again and see what they say. We had the service people out a few times for minor things and they were good to deal with on this front too.

The things they were out for were:

A) Once there was an electrical short which was tripping the switch
b) When we got the gardens done we had to add a riser to the covers as the ground was higher then. These cost a bit but nothing significant.

Ours was a new build and our first home so not sure how it compares with other units.
