We had a septic tank at home that would only get emptied every 4-5 years - and thats with 8-9 of us in the house! Any ideas? ALso does anyone know how much it would cost to get someone to empy it or any names of such people in the Fermoy (north cork) area. Thanks folks

I irishlinks Guest 28 Aug 2006 #3 Your local council should be able to tell you which companies have permits to empty the sludge. Only people with permits should be emptying them - but you will probabbly get plenty of local farmers who will pump it out and put it on a field!
