I am in the process of applying for carers benefit. I reduced my hours in work to fall below the income threshold of 350e per week. The carers benefit section have requested 2 recent payslips and my net income is 339e per week which on the face of it is fine. But I have just looked at my payslip and never factored in the deduction for the bike to work scheme of 24e per week. If the BTW scheme is not an approved deductible then I am over the threshold by 13e. Will the BTW scheme count as an approved deduction?
