Does anyone know whether there is BIK payable on life cover provided by your employer ?
For example, if your employer pays 5% pension to match your 5% and also pays a separate amount for life cover and permanent health - is any or all of this subject to BIK ?
I am pretty sure the pension element isn't or else you would be getting tax relief on your own contributions and paying tax on your employers.
As far as I know that our employer scheme is not subject to BIK. I think as long as it's available to all employees it is not subject to BIK. But I could be wrong.
