Best preformer/fund or 10-15 year investment

Hi, i'm completely new to this and i'm sure you've seen the same questions for advice over and over so any help is much appreciated.
Im 26 and looking to invest a sum of around 5k into an investment fund or compound interest svaings account? to let sit for at least 10-15 years.

I will be able to regularly add money into it every few months aswell.

I've been trying to find out what funds are making the biggest returns and what my best bet would be over the long term.

I was looking at Eagle star 5* asia pacific, that kind of thing..

Current/Past returns are of no use, well almost no use, in selecting which funds will perform well ijn the future. You would be better off checking fund expense ratios and/or fund strategies to ensure that they match your own risk profile.
