Best place to sell unwanted items

Hi there,

In the spirit of January I'm heading back to my family home
at the end of the month to do a bit of a clearout of stuff
I've stored there.

I have a bike and any number of smaller bits and pieces which
I no longer need but wouldn't mind making a few quid on.

Any advice on how best to sell these items ?

If there was a site where I could just post a house clearance
and the items for sale I thought this might be handy.

buyandsell or list the items on the shop on boards.ie. If theres a lot of items put an ad for a house clearance sale in the local newspaper or your local supermarket or even both..
