1:00am last night on Rathfarnham Rd.
Gardai checkpoint of about 8 Gardai actually stopping cars.
Haven't seen this for 5 years, in this area.
Would love to see memo/phone transcript from McDowell to gardai Commissioner requesting a little election help from the boys in blue.
 
I live in the same area and I have seen them over the last few months.

I don't think so!
The roads have been crawling with guards since last Friday at least.
You'd think we were living in a police state. Can't wait until the election is over.

Discovered threads should be rational and polite.
Will have to overdo polite to compensate.
