We own UK investment property with Cladding and Fire barrier issues and seeking advice.
Property purchased at 180k stg and Pepper mortgage which is upto date outstanding 60k stg but for past few years the service charge have been crippling us with upto 10k stg pa. The management company YY are not very nice and suing us for admin charges on late payment of a 9.5k service charge and we are in court at end of November but completely broke and can't afford counsel. Property cant be sold with these issues.
So we resigned to loosing this property but wondering with mounting legal cost and loss of value with property can Pepper come after us for our home or other assets ?
