Becoming Stay at home mum, does husband get credits?

Hi,

I'm just wondering if somebody might be able to explain to me how the tax credits work when only one spouse is working. I will be stopping work soon to become a stay at home mum and am trying to figure out the impact on our income. At the moment our credits are being split equally between us. When I stop work, does my husband get all of my tax credits? Thanks!

You husband can get all your credits bar the PAYE tax credit, employment expenses and the increase in standard rate cut-off point of €23,000. See and [broken link removed].
