I'm refurbishing an old house and putting in two new bathrooms and would love to avoid the usual bathroom heaters, also hate the fan thats in my current bathroom. Has anyone used the IXL Tastic in their bathroom. Its a heat, light and ventilation system in one. I saw an article recently and it looks like a great idea but I'd love to know if anyone has first hand experience with this system. Thanks in advance.
We have two heated towel rails, running off the gas central heating, in our bathroom. Very efficient and an oldfashioned style which suits our old house.
i have fitted about 30 of them, they are absolutely the rolls royce in a bathroom, a bit pricey to buy and fit, not expensive to run,if your budget leans anyway in that direction you will not be sorry, one stipulation, they need room above them in attic to breath, not suitable for flat roofs or in some dormer situations, you can pm me for more details
Thanks BillK, heated towel rails are my second choice but we won't be spending a lot of time in this house so I was hoping for instant heat instead of something connected to the central heating. If anyone is interested I can PM the website, I'd be love to hear opinions from the professionals but can't post website.
Hi skingtile, posts crossed. I'm hoping the cost will be balanced out by not having to buy seperate fan, radiator and light fitting which can all add up to a lot of money. One is an upstairs bathroom so no problem with ventilation, the second is downstairs so may not work there. I'll PM you to pick your brain further, thank you.
