Is the carronite much more rigid on the sides than the standard acrylic (unfortunatly none where available in the showroom i went to)? It is worth the €300/€400 extra?

D DavyJones Registered User Messages 1,987 22 Nov 2007 #2 Never seen a carronite bath but have often seen kitchen counters and sinks made from one moulded piece. It is very strong, much more than acrylic, don't know if its worth that much more though.
