Yeah I had a look at that, but my friend lives literally from hand to mouth.
H used to have an EBS Instant Access account which was ok and would do him fine now again, and he got an atm card that could only be used in AIB machines but it was better than nothing and no fees.
This type of account is still available but I think the atm card is gone, seems like it anyway judging by this.
The EBS Instant Access Account is designed to enable accountholders to save whilst also allowing instant access to the savings at EBS offices.
Withdrawals
14. Withdrawals may be made from an EBS Demand Account:
14.1. over-the-counter at certain EBS offices in cash or by EBS Cheque; and
14.2. by Online Transfer in accordance with Your Account Online Conditions.
No other withdrawals are permitted, save as set out in the Specific Terms.
