Banking charges for the elderly

Any info on the "besy buy" for current account banking for an older person (80)?

The IFSRA survey doesn't seem to deal with this specific example and I think I remember some banks used to have special offers.

Most banks offer free banking to over 55s/60s..........just make a few phone calls. You'll still have to pay charges for overdrafts etc. but no transaction fees.
