Bank of Ireland Mortgages and ICS
Building Society have today announced a
series of rate increases across their
home loan and investment fixed rate
mortgage products.
The two lenders said the rate increases
are in response to the increased cost
of funds on the financial markets.
Both said the increases would take
effect from close of business today,
November 25
yeah i got a call from the girl who is dealing with in ICS to tell me that the rates were going up by close of business today and if i didn't get my cheque issued today (i am closing sale next week) they would change the rates they had previously offered me. Luckilly my solicitor sent a courier to collect the cheque and I have it now.
She told me that she wasn't sure how much the rates were going up by, all she knew was the fixed rates were defo going up and more than likely variable rates too.
