Ballyneety Road, Ballyfermot Lwr

Looking for any thoughts on this area. For various reasons this is probably as far in to Ballyfermot as I would consider. I got a nice feel from the general area as I walked up Landen Road but once I turned on to Ballyneety road itself it looked and felt more tired and unloved, for want of a better way of putting it. I plan to revisit at different times but wondering if anyone has any info on that particular road/area

I live around that area. You're right that that road is a bit run down compared to other roads and theres a few derelict houses but to be honest I'm very happy living around there. There are interesting characters, strong equine culture etc but on the whole feel very safe there and lucky to live there. It's a really good location and you're very close to memorial gardens, the liffey, town etc.
