Hi,

I wondered if someone could give me some info regarding the BTEA.
I have already completed a BA in UCC and hope to go back and do the h.dip in primary school teaching in Mary I.

I signed on for my stamps last august and have since been, when required, subbing and then making a repeat claim when I finish.

If the course was to start in January would I be eligable for the BTEA?

Also would having signed off at various times affect my eligability? I would intend to sub as much as possible again come September.

Are fees covered by the allowance and also how much is the payment?

I have looked at the BTEA threads but still don't really know where my own case would stand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks:)
