Back To Ed Allowance

I have been offered a college place starting in Sep. I am currently on Jobseekers Benefit. In order to qualify for BTEA I need to be on jobseekers for 9 mths, i am approx 3 weeks short of this. Any tips on what i could try to do to get it? any loopholes?? I cant afford to go to college without it and I cant get work!

Persons who are awarded statutory redundancy and who are eligible for Jobseeker's Benefit are exempt from the waiting time for BtoEA, does that apply to you?

No unfortunatly not, I am currently waiting on an answer from my local jobs facilitor on wheater or not i am eligable.
