I got my law degree four years ago, did a masters in law and went on to pass my exams for the law society. Then I took a complete change of heart, realising that becoming a solicitor is not the road for me. I went into college at a young age and never though it through until now. Even if I still wanted to go down this road, opportunities for trainee solicitors are very limited. I have been working temp jobs in the legal field since college, nothing with any long-term prospects. I desperately want to return to college to train as a social worker but I have no money.
If I received a grant for study first time around, would I ever qualify for a grant now? I know that people who are unemployed can go back to college but I haven't been unemployed. Who would I contact about this?
