back boilers

i would like to get a back boiler put in / on to my real fire so i can heat my whole house when the fire is lit, any ideas on how i would go about this??
how much work roughly is involved
any idea of the cost for this.
i live in ireland but any information would be great. thank you x

Hi,

Massive job, fireplace comes out along with fire back. Loads of digging at chimney breast to accomodate back boiler.
Dual coil cylinder needs to be fitted. Two one inch pipes ran from back boiler to cylinder. Cylinder stat and pump fitted.
Making good around back boiler. re-fitting fire place and redecorating the lot.

No idea of cost as it will vary depending on specific job.

BTW most of us here live in Ireland.
