Average commission for an EA?

Hi all. What is the average commission for an EA? I have been quoted 1.5% plus VAT from a relatively small local agent. Is the rate usually negotiable?

That's standard enough although it is possible to negotiate. You can get 1% handy enough but that would depend on the price range, proximity to agents office etc.
