Ortiz has previously said she expects Avant Money to take in €100 million to €200 million of deposits in 2025, before growing gradually to a stage where the Irish loan book is almost funded by local deposits within eight years.

I was not aware that they were taking deposits but I am not tuned into that market.

Yeah, no offering yet. Discussion on Avant planning to launch a deposit product in this thread.

Avant said there would be a mid 2025 launch of their deposit offering, so maybe a launch will occur soon.
 
Will be very interesting to see what deposit product will be required to move an Irish deposit base to them.....I have feeling that Bankinteer may just continue to use their home funding franchise as the main funding pool....no brainer I guess to pick up some mobile deposits from existing customer relationships....but think they will hit the deposit inertia that characterizes the Irish market.
