hi,
im looking for a book which teaches a person autocad. i think FAS used to have a book which gave simple examples building up into more advanced drawings etc.
Would anyone know where it might be possible to get this book or are there similar books which people have found beneifical?
Any help would be grateful.
Thanks

link might help. Your best bet is to play with it for a few weeks and then you will know what you need to learn and if the books or training you are looking at is any good for you.

I am self taught in Autocad and Microstation; I started out with (outdated) manuals and as Purple suggests "played" around with it myself before getting into the tutorials and online assistance etc. An experienced CAD user would teach you more in an hour than any amount of reading I reckon. A lot of VECs runs courses in basic CAD draughting.

Lynx,
I have "AutoCAD 2007 for Dummies" PDF Ebook (8.5mb Zipped) if you want it let me know by P.M. & I'll forward it
