I'm looking for software that would produce audit exempt accounts. My preference would be for free software (obvioulsy) but I wouldn't mind paying a small amount. I would estimate that I would be issuing a max of 20 invoices a year and perhaps 50 expense items.
I don't need an accouting package (I'm an accountant) so all I need is to input the extended trial balance into the software and then the final accounts for CRO will be produced. I'm happy to use Excel to keep books of account etc.
I'm not working in an accounting practice so I don't have access to accounting software.
As an alternative does anyone know if any accounting packages can do everything from cash book etc to final audit exempt accounts. I don't mind buying a package that does the whole process but I don't want to buy an accounting package that won't produce final accounts (unaudited).
