I've recently moved into my own apartment and the builders have wired it up for a sky feed from SKY Conway ( local sky reseller). Grand, couple of stations fro 15 euros a month. However, i would like to get sky digital + and for technical reasons this is not possible.

So , i am wondering what the situation is with regard to attaching a sky box to my apartment. Do i actually own any of the exteriorm could i stick it under my balcony, or on the roof. Any suggestions or feedback welcome.

Cheers,
Eain

You need a dish to be attached to the outside of your apartment (the 'box' goes on top of your tv or on the stand). Most leasehold agreements (you would have signed when you bought the apartment) prohibit attaching objects such as dishes to the exterior of your apartment.

Sorry-I feel your pain!

Thanks for all the help, i'll let you know how i get on

Planning permission is required before attaching a satellite dish to the front of a building.
