.ATT files

Hi all,
Does anybody know how you can open these files. I've tried notepad but to no avail.

Where did you get the file from? Could be a fax file (according to ). In which case, the free XnView is suggested.

Some mail servers that can't handle attachments properly sometimes separate the attachment into a .ATT attachment file.

If you open the file in notepad you may be able to figure out what type it is from the first few lines, then rename it to PDF, DOC or the relevant file type.

If received in email, ask the sender what the original filename and format was!
