Asked to sign a residency form

Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum.

A friend of a friend from Asia has asked me to sign her application for residency (she has been in Ireland 5+ years), can anyone point me in the direction for information on this or give me some info.

What's your problem with signing? I've done it for a friend, it's nothing major. You may be called for a character reference but that's unlikely if everything is above board.
 
I have no problem of course, but I like to know what exactly im signing first
 
There is info on the form. Nothing to worry about provided all the info on the form is truthful and above board.
 
Just be aware that this process happens at a glacial pace.It would be years before you hear from them
 
It is just for a character reference....nothing to worry about. It could be years before they contact you..and get round to processing the application.
