Asaco coffe machine- not hot coffe

Hi all can anyone help?
Bought an ascaso coffe machine in b.t. about a year ago. never got a good hot cup coffee out of it... can anyone help? Well its hotish i think im making it right, switching on the machine till the red light on coffee goes out & the therm is about 100 then when the coffee starts coming out the thermmometer drops down to abt 75 or so result is i always have to add hot water... no big deal but not wghat i expected when i paid 500 plus euro for it..!!

Is it still under gaurantee? - I'd try returning it, it doesn't sound right. Someone did once say to me that coffee shouldn't be served boiling hot.

When I was doing research into coffee machines, the most important factors for me were pressure and ease of cleaning. I ended up with a delonghi caffe treviso. (No where near €500, but I like the coffee it makes!)
