are our medical cards safe?

We built a new home and have the old one on the market for over two years. We've paid the NPPR tax on it. If we rent it out, will be at risk to lose our medical cards? We could get approx. €500 per month, which would ease the financial burden of keeping the heat on and the maintenance of it. Any suggestions, please.
