i appealed my j.a refusal to appeals office and today day i got a letter as to their decision. it went as follows ,weekly means as from 15 december 2008---445 euros. date which i signed on... weekly means from 2 september 2009 --259 euros. revised decision in view of changed circumstances. i recommend review of entitlement in 6 months..this is based on my wifes income..anyone know what this means ?
 
The means which are to be applied to your Jobseeker's claim are -

445 euro per week from 15th December 2008 up to 1 September 2009.
259 euro per week from 2 September 2009.

Depending on your family size you may not have an entitlement to payment from Dec 08 to Sep 09 but you may have an entitlement from September onwards.

The Appeals Office has advised the SW office to review your claim again in 6 months.
 
The numbers would suggest that, your SW office will confirm the figures for you on your next visit (or by letter).
 
Just want to ask you - how long did u have to wait for a reply after appealing same?
