Apart from cost, why not get a commercial dishwasher

I mean it does a load in 3 minutes.
The rack is higher off the ground so there is less bending.
You could have the dishes washed and put away while cleaning up the rest of the kitchen.

My dishwasher is rubbish. I think all domestic ones are a massive compromise.

Any other reason not to buy a commercial one?

A very good point, I used to work in a kitchen & was amazed how quickly the cycle was done. Approx how much are they & can you get ones that would fit under-counter?

Because the baskets come out, you can have 2 or 3 and load them up ready to go. You can also air dry dishes.

It has a hot fill so if you have a cheap way of heating water it could save money over heating by electricity.

They would fit under a counter.

Not the best looking though....

Seems to be standard electricity.
Electrical connection 230V single phase N-50Hz

Its a bit noisy at 65 db vs 48 for a domestic one. But its only for 4 minutes...

1.6 to 3 kw available, the domestic one is 1 kw but thats not so relevant, it is more important how long it runs at the full 3Kw.

I'd say it uses more water, but if you can heat that cheaply, then it might be similar in terms of energy.

Our Zanussi (Italian) washer dryer has been the single best appliance ever. Bought in 1993 it has never given any trouble, despite thousands of washes with drying cycle, and- though it's not recommended- it has never been serviced.

I've got a husband without that extra too. When I looked into it he advised that one can only buy a package of extras- so along with the dishwashing feature also came the non-dinner cooking feature.

However I've now seen the light thanks to this thread. Is it possible to fall in love at first sight with a dishwasher?
