Anyone commuting to Kells

What are the main towns within commuting distance of Kells?

What is average journey time from them to Kells?

What are the roads like - good surface, twisting country roads etc?

Navan would be the biggest town - it is about 10 miles - road very good but large tailbacks into Kells every evening coming from Navan.

Virginia is about 20 minutes drive - road good.
Bailieborough about 20 minutes drive - alot of bends on the road between Kells and Bailieborough.
Cavan town would be about 20 miles - good road.

Oldcastle would be about 15 minutes away - road not great.
Athboy would be much the same as Oldcastle.

You can also get to Trim. from Kells about a 20 min drive max road twisty but no tailbacks. Can go thru Athboy or thru the bog to avoid triaffic.
