Anyone buying a 3G phone for Xmas?

Any thoughts or opinions on the new range of Vodafone 3G models?

Video calling is a killer app, IMHO, but obviously can't take off until all your friends also buy a 3G phone!

I have played with the .

I liked the user interface, but it only has one camera on the phone - there is another one on a desktop stand, but that means you can only make 2-way video calls when sitting at your desk. Not much use when trying to impress your mates in the pub!

The phone is a little bit on the big side, particularly the keypad.

Available in Ireland from next Tuesday 7th Dec, my sources indicate.

I also played with the [broken link removed]. I liked the flip and the features, but it is a little bit on the thick side.

My sources tell me this is not now expected to be made available in Ireland until Friday 17th Dec or more likely Monday 20th Dec in the shops.
