i was wondering was anyone in the forum work for a stockbrking firm like Davys or Goodbody.I am interested in this line of work.i nearly finished my engineeering degree and want to do a postgrad in financial studies. I wanted to find how people got in to this line of work because i know there is a limited number of jobs available.
i was looking on the ISE website and found this linking on education http://www.ise.ie/index.asp?locID=385&docID=-1 . it seems only for people that are with member firms.
Has anyone taken this course be cause it is only three days and it costs 980 euro to do two exams. Also it is only on twice a year.
I was also looking at the website and found courses on that. you only need your leaving cert done to do these course and you can get a job. LSE website is down at the moment so i can not show you the link. but its courses start every three weeks.
I was also wondering what kind of job it was. i know it would be very stressful but it would be very rewarding aswell.
