Any Vacancies&Advice for Trainee Accountants

I have registered for the ACCA EXAMS IN DECEMBER. PART OF THE COURSE IS TO HAVE COMPLETED 3 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE.
Accountancy is the Job I have always want to do and I am interested in and I am looking for the right opportunity that allows me to work and gives support while studying for these exams. I would appreciate any advice that anyone or employer that reads this, can give me on the best way going about finding a Trainee Position.
All my work eperience has been in Banking& Insurance,Underwriting.
 
Contact the ACCA offices in Leeson Street...they may have a list of trainee vacancies both in industy and practice.


For trainee positions in practice pick some ACCA practices from the Golden Pages and send your c.v. to them.

You could send your c.v. to some of the practices on the ICAI website...a lot of small practices will consider ACCA students too.

You could also register with some of the recruitement agencies. I find Accountancy Solutions to be the best. (just my opinion based on dealings with them over the years).
 
Send your CV to some agencies. There are loads of jobs out there for trainee accountants. We had a position a few months ago and it took us a month to fill it. I found Premier quite good as well as Hays but again, its only my opinion! Good luck in the search, you will defo get what you are looking for.
