I really think this is the way of the future.Working in the construction industry so installing these products should not be very hard with the right training

Think you need to generate some ideas re what's going on in your area. I saw an advert in my local paper (meath) by a company looking for staff to train in installing wood pellet boilers and stoves, I'm sure there are going to be more people moving into these area and I read that FAS may be about to start some courses.

Do some research on companies in your area and just call them.

i presently work for myself and would like to remain my own boss
just think there is an opening in the market and would like to jump on it before to many people are doing it

I'd ask at the Lifetime Lab. They are holding the reception for the ASPO (Association for the Study of Peak Oil www.peakoil.net ) this weekend.

I'd also go and visit the Centre for Alternative Technology which is in an old slate quarry in Machynclleth in Wales. They've been doing this stuff for nearly 30 years. Their solutions work and are fairly basic technology. We've done their solar panel water heater and are just starting on a mini hydro system for our stream.

Good luck.
